1. Controller

This notice concerns marabika.lt customers, visitors and people contacting us. It is separate from the sales terms, and reading it is not blanket consent to processing.

2. Data, purposes and legal bases

Orders and contracts: identity, contact, billing and delivery details, order, payment status, delivery, return and communication data are processed to take pre-contractual steps and perform the contract.

Legal obligations: invoice, accounting, tax, consumer-rights, product-safety and dispute data are processed to meet legal duties. Support, fraud prevention and legal claims: enquiries, necessary transaction data and technical/security logs are processed under relevant contractual/legal grounds or our legitimate interest in safe service, abuse prevention and legal defence.

Accounts: account and authentication data provide the requested account service. Marketing: messages are sent only with valid consent or a lawful existing-customer exception with an easy opt-out. Analytics and non-essential cookies: used according to cookie choices where consent is required; essential cookies support security, cart and checkout.

3. Sources and required data

Data comes from you, selected payment and delivery providers, an optional sign-in provider and automatic device/site logs. Fields marked as required at checkout are necessary to conclude and perform the contract; without them we cannot process the order. Marketing and non-essential cookie choices are voluntary.

4. Recipients and international transfers

As necessary, data is shared with payment providers and banks, carriers and parcel-terminal operators, hosting, email, security and technical providers, accountants, legal advisers and public authorities. They receive only what is necessary and act as independent controllers or contracted processors.

We prefer EEA processing. For transfers outside the EEA, an appropriate GDPR Chapter V mechanism is used, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses, plus supplementary safeguards where needed. Contact us for information about safeguards for a specific transfer.

5. Retention

Order, invoice and accounting data is kept for statutory accounting and tax periods. Contract, guarantee, return and dispute data is kept through performance and applicable limitation periods, and until any dispute is finally resolved.

Account data is kept while active and for a limited period after closure where required for security or claims. Support records are kept as needed for the enquiry and claims. Marketing choice evidence is kept while valid and as needed to prove compliance; opt-out records are kept to suppress further messages. Technical/security logs have purpose-limited periods. Expired data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised, subject to lawful backup cycles.

6. Your rights

Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection to legitimate-interest processing, and portability of data you supplied. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may object to direct marketing at any time and free of charge.

Send requests to orders@marabika.lt. We may reasonably verify identity. We answer within one month, extendable by two months for complex requests with notice. We do not currently make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
