A wonderful, pleasant fragrance that, as it dries down (after about 6 hours), becomes unobtrusively sweet and powdery. The opening accords really recall the smell of African plants and sand. Later it fades, disperses, and turns powdery, but not plasticky. I applied it at about 09:00; it is now 20:10 and the scent is still noticeable. When I first tested this perfume on my hand, the jacket sleeve on that arm smelled of it for 2 days afterward. Thus, it lasts a long time on clothes.

In my opinion, though, Barakkat is slightly louder. Longevity is definitely around 8 hours, longer than the original (6 hours). I cannot comment on the sillage.
